Omer Tiroche Gallery presents the forthcoming exhibition Colour is Light on Fire: Sam Francis Works on Paper. The featured works span across four pivotal decades of Francis’ career, from the early 1950s to the late 1980s, and will serve as a mini survey in celebration of the centennial of the artist’s birth. This exhibition aims to examine Francis’ pioneering and innovative exploration in the use of colour as well as highlight his critical contributions to both Tachisme and the Art Informel movement.
