Artist Sam Francis mastered the use of negative space, allowing interactions between forms and empty space to provide viewers with visual pathways to move through his artworks. Join educator Alicia Vogl Sáenz in a slow art-looking exercise in conjunction with the exhibition Sam Francis and Japan: Emptiness Overflowing, followed by meditation. No meditation experience necessary; instruction will be given. RSVP required.
